Updated, and I’ve added you to the translator interface (much easier than editing a file). :)

Is there any procedure how to take over unmaintained translation? I am referring to Latvian/Latviešu translation as both former translators have not shown a sign of activity for some time and I see lots of untranslated strings even with updated language file.
I am still willing to contribute by translating txp to Latvian, as this language is left unmaintained.

Re: [Obsolete] Translating Textpattern to ...
Thank you. Tried some things, fixed some typos and successfuly updated langfile in my blog.
But there is a problem: some of new lines are not in Latvian (lv-lv) language file.
For example:- Admin part – “sort_display” in Content > Write
- Admin part – “view_per_page” and “detail_toggle” in Admin > Log
And probably some other places.
How do I fix this? Should I merge in en-US version myself or can it be done on server (would be nice) .

I was the original translator for Thai but I have not been added to the list because I didn’t update it for a long time.

What’s the difference between login and login_name in common tab? Where are they used?

Re: [Obsolete] Translating Textpattern to ...
- login is used as the page title on the login form
- login_name is used in the author listing table (it should actually be put under the “admin” event,
so I’ll go move it nowmoved)

1. comments_on – what does this text must be? In english lang it just written “comments_on” :)
2. Date case and Archive case – is it related with letters case?

That is for the comments popup window.
In english lang it just written “comments_on”
? Under English (Great Britain) it clearly says, “Comments on”.
Date case and Archive case…
Those two are old, you can ignore them and I’ll remove them.
