Essentially the problem I’d been having was that on a search it would paginate the home page instead of paginating the search, via this thread.
Okay can reproduce, but here is a workaround – if you make a new URL rule with simple a single ‘Search request’ component then it works fine. I shall look into it more and come up with a fix.
Fixed: gbp_permanent_links v0.11.613
Thanks

Re: gbp_permanent_links
Hi greame! Thanks for the updated plugin. I don’t know if this release should fix the problem I described earlier (#182), however, that problem still occurs. So when I go to domain.com/section/category (via your plugin) some articles are missing, but when I go to domain.com/section/?c=Category, the articles do occur.

Joey

No I haven’t fixed this – yet. I haven’t seen this happen. Can you send me both your Textpattern’s debugging output and the the debugging output from the plugin. Thanks.

Re: gbp_permanent_links
Edit: the problem was no bug at all. The problem was that I also had an article named the same as the category. So the textpattern URL’s like section/title
were interfering with gbp’s section/category
URL’s. Greame, thanks for the tip!

Re: gbp_permanent_links
That problem with the File Downloads seems to have gone from bad to worse. It now doesn’t even have the mis-escaped file download number, there’s nothing at all. If I add the <txp:gbp_disable_permlinks>
tag it shows up fine, but you can imagine how difficult it would be to go back through the archive and do that.
Anything I can do to make the troubleshooting easier?

Nic emailed through the debugging output – and I think I’ve got this problem sorted but I’m not certain – can people test please :)
Here is gbp_permanent_links v0.11.616 gbp_permanent_links v0.11.617

Hallelujah! No errors, no problems! Seems like it’s been fixed. Thanks so much, this is very exciting to not have to worry about anymore.

Great! Glad it’s working now :)
The issue you were seeing was also related to a bug which prevented gbp_permanent_links and postmaster from working together which is now fixed – wahoo.

I will test your claim (I must definitely take a look to the english dictionary before posting) your plug-in as soon as possible!
Thanks, graeme!

Re: gbp_permanent_links
Graeme, I switched to the last version today, but had to quickly revert to 0.11.566, because my url ‘name.htm’ in the url title got converted to ‘namehtm’.
I read that you added the capability of converting special chars in the url by purpose, but in my case that deleted the point that i put in the url title field! :-(
Can you release an option about that? Maybe one want to simulate html pages, and points should be allowed.
Thanks
