Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] glx_admin_image_resize
I am experiencing funny behavior with this plugin—- the create thumbnail function will not work when there is an existing thumbnail, no matter what sequence of buttons and checkboxes I check. I have to delete the image entirely and recreate it. Any idea why?
Using version 2006.1a, txp 4.0.3, PHP 4.3.11

hi joshwand. that could be a problem with the rights on the file. can you check if one of the buttoncombinations work to create a thumbnail after you changed the rights of the old file to 0777?

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] glx_admin_image_resize
Earlier this month, some small problems were found when this plugin was used with 4.0.4. Is there any chance of a fix?

Yes. I try to fix all f my plugins for 4.0.4 in the next days. Until now nobody told me about problems under the new version.

Great plugin in – thank you
But here is another vote for the ability to specify the height and width of the thumbnail.
One of the reasons being, if like me, you use the bos-image gallery (http://forum.textpattern.com/viewtopic.php?id=14642) plugin which uses thumbs – they all need to be uniform in size otherwise the layout is effected.

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] glx_admin_image_resize
I’m having a different problem with this plugin and txp 4.0.4 then what is mentioned above.
In IE and when editing an image, when you click on a radio button, it doesn’t visually look like it has been selected even though it has. It still looks like a blank/empty button.
I haven’t been able to test on another machine yet but has anybody run into this problem? Only occurs in internet explorer.

Does anyone have a copy of this plugin? The links are dead.

hi all, my server got killed. the new one just got set up. the plugins are here now. I know about the problems in ie, caused mostly because of invalid markup in the plugin. both, the markup and the problems with 4.0.4 will be fixed soon, I am rewriting the whole plugin now. if anyone is interested in testing the the current testversion, drop me a line

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] glx_admin_image_resize
Hi graumeister, any updates of the plugin yet?
Speaking about it, does somebody know if this is the only plugin which make image resize at upload possible? I have searched for it a while but this seems the only plugin. I hope that this will be a feature in a future release of TxP. Especially for clients (end users who upload the content) this plugin makes it really easy to upload images and give the right dimension to the images, so they don’t have to open an image resize program first on their computers.
Regards,
Joey
