Re: A Christmas Present For Our Developers And Moderators

I love this community. This is by far the best CMS out there, and I am more than happy to chip in what little I can. I haven’t been on the boards in a bit, but I see you’ve all been busy, so…

Happy Holidays to all the developers and TXP community as a whole, and here’s to a prosperous New Year!

Re: A Christmas Present For Our Developers And Moderators

I was an early donor, but this is a belated ‘thankyou’. As a programming and web design neophyte, a tool like TXP is just wonderful. Many thanks to all those who put so much time and effort in developing and supporting it through these forums.

And a very happy Christmas to all.

Re: A Christmas Present For Our Developers And Moderators

and here are some more updates for you

First of all: Our fundraising was a great success!
Thank you all.

By now, we got some presents for sweet Mary (marys amazon wishlist). Thanks to Lisa McMillan who was of great help getting marys presents over in Canada. Thanks of course to Graeme D. for his kind help over in Australia and thanks to Eduardo M. over in Argentina. Alex McKee over in Gloucestershire, UK tried to organize some cheese for Dean but that did not work out due to european export regulations. So we picked some books from Deans amazon wishlist.
Destry said the most beneficial to him these days is a Paypal cheque. His wish came true today.
I was happy we could add Stu (aka thebomsite) and David (aka davidm, Davids amazon wishlist) to the list. Both will be busy next week :)…

Unfortunately some presents will take up to 2, 3 weeks to arrive. Nevertheless they are on their way.

The fund raising will last till 31st of Dec 2005 and then be closed down completely. As i mentioned above: any money left will be donated to shareafrica.org to support AIDS infected children.

Girls and guys, for now

Merry Christmas

Hi,

I guess I’m too late. I just donated a few minutes ago as I only stumbled across this thread now. Anyway, a Merry Christmas to all from Germany,

Sorry about the cheese :-(

I’ll try and get the company to send some to Dean in the future. Anyone know when his birthday is ….

Re: A Christmas Present For Our Developers And Moderators

I would like to thank Alex and all the members who contributed to the fund for my Christmas present. :) I can tell you that it arrived on Thursday (29th) and I have already watched the complete set once. Should save me borrowing it from my sister once a month. Much appreciated. Thank you all. :)

Just a quick belated thanks to all for my gift: 3kg of green coffee beans. 1kg each of Uganda White Nile, Brazil Santos, and Costa Rica SHB, all great stuff.
