Thumbnail not working in any plugins for me.
The following thread contains the info about my problem.

Using the following article form:

And exchanging the tag depending on the plugin I’m not able to get txp to display the thumbnail from the referenced image (from advanced options) using any of the options. The hak plugin will display the full size image using the thumbnail tag (odd) but the thumbnail is not displayed.
For further questions see the attached link or post here. I am using 4.0.2 of TXP. I’ve placed this back into troubleshooting because this goes a bit farther then a plugin questions and hak recommended posting it here.

Just to clarify. He seems to experincing this problem with a series of plugins (not just mine). With some generating errors. It seemed to point to something larger then just the single plugin not working.
I thought of another thing you could try. Try seeing if you can get the approprate thumbnails using < txp:thumbnail /> That’s actually the function my plugin uses to display the thumbnail so I’d be curious to see if that works. Plus it’s a built in tag so it should work.

Ok. So. The txp:thumbnail works. But only if placed in the article itself and of course reference by the appropriate ID. Though I think from reading about it in the tags doc that, thats exactly how its suppose to work.
Now since it worked by placing the tag in the actual article I thought I’d try using the plugins this way. But…well that didn’t work either. Is ANYONE else having or have seen this problem?
All I want to do is place a thumbnail image tag that will link to the full size image in the default form so that whenever I upload an image I can place the full size image in the advance options and the thumbnail will be automatically referenced per article.

How are you trying to use the article image field? Perhaps you aren’t using it correctly.

A full size image is placed into the field. /images/3.jpg

You should only put 3 in the article image field.

ARRRGH! hehe. Its funny because I posted how I filled in the article image field and no one corrected me. Well its working now! Thank you so much.
