<txp:hak_article_thumb /> not working.

In my continued saga of getting txp to do what I want. I’m trying to setup the article page so when I create an article the thumbnail is automatically loaded from the selected primary image. Now hak is partially working in that it is referencing the photo, but its referencing the full size version rather then the thumbnail.

Is the thumbnail properly associated with the image in the images tab? Can you maybe post the <img /> tag that is getting generated? Also what are you putting in the article image field?

that’s bizarro, all hak_article_thumb does is add a “t” to the id so it pulls the thumbnail. Do you just have the “2” in the article image field?

yes. not sure what is going on here. kind of disappointed because it seems like a powerful option. Its showing the image. But the fullsize version not its associated thumbnail.

I’ll see if I can find anything, I’m just not being able to replicate it. I use it on my site exactly the same way you are and it’s working fine.

Does the thumb shows up fine in the images tab? Also, just make sure, this is using Textpattern 4.0 or higher right?

Yeah the thumb displays fine in the images tab. I’m using the latest version downloaded from the resource site. And 4.0.2 of textpattern.

You could see if the other article_image plugins work also. The one included in upm_img_popper does almost everything mine does.

I think you saw this already but Mary linked them here

I’d be curious to know if they behave properly because it could help me figure out what is going on with my plugin.

I couldn’t get the other ones to work either, but I preferred yours. I’ll try the upm_img_popper next. Its the only one I haven’t tried. The other plugins simply wouldn’t load. I’d like to think its something I’m doing wrong, so if anyone has any ideas on what mistake I am making. Please let me know.

Anything in your diagnostics tab? It definitely seems like something is off.

I noticed your server has register_globals on I wonder if that could cause something. You should try uncommenting the line for
#php_value register_globals 0 in the .htaccess See if that does anything. Otherwise I would recommend maybe posting something troubleshooting to see if zem or Sencer notice anything odd. They definitely know what to look for better then I do. It definetly seems like something is not behaving as expected if so many of these plugins are acting up.
