txp:if_status allows you to do custom stuff based on http status, eg:
<code><txp:if_status status=“404”><txp:output_form form=“page_not_found_message” /></txp:if_status></code>
Very useful! Thanks chaps!

Chris, can you please open a new topic in troubleshooting and include some more info (like what version you are updating from, how you upgraded, diagnostic info, a link to the site in question etc.)

Re: Textpattern 4.0.2 Released
Woohoo! since I’m still “in process” I’ll just start off with 4.0.2! :-)
One little nitpick on the download page in the upgrade instructions – you might want to advise backing up the htaccess file before replacing it as it may have other non TXP items in it. I knowbacking it up it seems like an obvious thing to do but sometimes the obvious are the most easily overlooked.

Re: Textpattern 4.0.2 Released
I tried to use the pageby-attribute for the article tag for my two-column layout. But the next/foreward buttons started acting weird. I found that this was caused by a (bug?) in this line (textpattern/publish.php – doArticles):
$total = safe_count('textpattern',$where) - $offset;
I changed it to this:
$total = safe_count('textpattern',$where);
And it worked! Can anyone confirm this? Or is it just something else that goes wrong?

Re: Textpattern 4.0.2 Released
Congrats to the entire dev team for another awesome release.
Without you guys, Txp would never be what it is today. And it’s only going up from here!
Congrats again!
