Remove <p> added around <img> tags
I’ve been working on a new layout and thought I had it ready to load when, voila!, there’s a bug in the ointment. The way the page should look is:
http://www.aprettyrock.com/test2.htm
The way it looks right now is:
http://www.aprettyrock.com/
I have a grid of images (3 × 3) that is not displaying as a grid, because textpattern is wrapping the images in a <p> tag. Is there anyway for me to tell textpattern to not do that?
(Edit: Sorry, I should also mention that the link is currently held in the excerpt for each item.)
Thanks!

Turn off Textile formating for excerpts, and re-save your articles. It’s a checkbox under Advanced Options. If you want it to always be unchecked by default, I have a plugin for that.

Thank you Mary. I searched for this answer, but didn’t find anyone asking the same question until I found the following post, just a little further down:

I’m heading over to your site for the plug in right now!

Thanks zem. That is very useful. Shame I did not discover it sooner.

One thing you can always do on a per-line basis is to add an empty space at the beginning of the line in which you write the img tags or Textile image markup. That will keep Textile from wrapping the line in p’s.
