Re: [archived] ob1_modified

Altered the syntax for format and added output attribute.

format

Overrides the format set in the Textpattern preferences.

  • since – outputs what time have elapsed since the last edit.
  • <em>[dateformat]</em> – outputs any format using the PHP date format.
  • author – Output the name of the author instead of the date.
output

When to output anything.

  • always – Always output (default).
  • differs – Output if modified date differs from the posted one.

Re: [archived] ob1_modified

Note: New version 0.31 corrects a bug with the output="differs" attribute in v0.3 that did not previously work correctly. If this is a feature you wish for, download 0.31.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Re: [archived] ob1_modified

doggiez,
I am having some trouble with my host. Not sure what it is but this problem has surfaced two times now and not that far apart.

But anyway, the site, in this writing moment I might have to add :), is up and running again.

Regards,
Henrik “obeewan” Jönsson

Re: [archived] ob1_modified

this tag, which has worked just fine in the past, is outputting a date/time that is consistently four hours ahead…
now, jad_oldposted was doing this also.. ..so i am not blaming the plugins for the problem at all.. just wondering if there’s a discrepancy with the RC3 date retrieval … or am I the only one experiencing this?

(am currently running latest rev336.. ‘have been experiencing this problem in previous revisions also.)

Re: [archived] ob1_modified

alicson,
I am currently running RC 3 (unknown build though) at home. I’ll investigate when I get home from work and report back tomorrow (CET) my findings.

Henrik

Re: [archived] ob1_modified

Something I don’t understand about the output:

First of all, I think there is something wrong with my server time, in the write tab for a new article the date and time is given as: 2005-05-22 13:27, while my computer says 2005-05-22 15:08.

In preferences: GMT+01, daylight savings: yes.

But aside from this server time deviation, the plugin seems to output todays date.
In the write tab of the article date last modified is: 21-5-05 14:20
Plugin output: 22-5-05 12:00

???

Re: [archived] ob1_modified

doggiez,
I tested on my dev site and it outputs everything correctly. Time added is correct, modified time is correct. I did a SVN some days back and I use the same settings as you (GMT+1, daylights on).

So sounds like a problem with your host. Anyone else had the same problem?

Re: [archived] ob1_modified

Today the output is 23-5-05 12:00
Date last modified is still 21-5-05 14:20

I think the 1:40 time difference is a problem with my host. But the fact that it shows today’s date can hardly be, can it?

This is what’s in the article: <code><txp:ob1_modified format=“j-n-Y h:i” /></code>.

Any ideas?

EDIT: I see that it should be H, and not h, but I’m not going to change it until I know what’s wrong.
I also put the same tag in an article on another site, with another host. Tomorrow we will know if it’s a host thing or not…
