Good job.

I’m not sure if Textile will translate the norwegian characters æ, ø e.t.c. Otherwise they will have to be altered to HTML equivalents.

Translating technical english to norwegian isn’t easy, if you will accept my help I will be happy to give you a hand.

It did not cross my mind that æ, ø and å might not render correctly. I would be glad if you could perform the conversion to HTML equivalents.

I think it would be a good idea to use the dictionary maintained by skolelinux. Some of your words weren’t translated and some didn’t were what your would call norwenglish :)

The following changes (below) are applied to the existing Norwegian language file. Get the file in the download link provided by the top post in this thread. UTF-8 encoding (HTML entities coded). The translation credits/comments in place were moved to the end of the file so the line numbers will start consistently on 1 for all language files. There are some inconsistencies in how the “original” English TxP file uses caps in various UI elements and menus. <del>No attempt was made to sort this out here</del>. (Edit: This was sorted out after all.)

Line 14: alt_text => Alternativ tekst // not fully translated. if this is an alt property ref, then it should perhaps be shortened to “alt.”
Line 24: article_category_name => Navn på artikkelkategori // spelling.
Line 26: article_divider => Artikkel skille // separator > skille. Line 52: cant_ban_blank_ip => Kan ikke forby uten IP adresse // for consistency with other similar entry. Line 136: email_address => Epostadresse // spelling. Line 153: gmtoffset => Tidssone // space.
