nope. the file name is not recognized “has no date” or some such error. cannot use the Upload function

Out of curiosity – what was the file-extension?
If you use Safari to download the file it almost certainly appended a .txt extension (the Github servers display the file as plain text when asking for a “raw” view). That might explain the error(s)…
I think other browser might do the same here, but not sure as I never access GH with anything but Safari.
Where is that emoji for a solar powered submarine when you need it ?

Yes safari appends the .txt. Chrome keeps it as.php
In any event i am sticking with the official one that keeps the plugin in Extensions.
