PHP 8.0.0 has arrived. It’s compiling right now, and should be live within 15 minutes of this post timestamp.

With the arrival of Textpattern 4.8.4 (check here for details), release-demo has been updated and is now running on PHP 8.0.

PHP 8.0.1RC1 compiling for dev-release now, should be live in ~10 minutes.
Reverting release-demo to PHP 7.4 until we’ve ironed a few snags.

PHP 8.0.2, PHP 7.4.15 and PHP 7.3.27 are compiling now, should be live in <30 minutes.
I’m scoping out bringing back a demo site for the work-in-progress PHP 8.1 – along with the expected alphas, betas and release candidates over summer – but that may be part of a server move to larger premises as I’m hitting the limits of a $5 box. Watch this space for developments.
