Does that really surprise you ? We are, after all, talking about the company that many many moons ago, when the internet was still in it’s infancy, had configured their network stuff so that, when a non-US machine connected to the net from a US location, the security services where easily able to ”share in the fun”. Daniel Glazman (aka glazou, of early years of CSS specs fame) had some very amusing stories about it on his blog.

I am so glad that 19 years after 9/11 we feel so safe from Terrorist Attacks that we can focus on defunding police and hampering their ability to do their jobs.

One of the many reasons I am happy I live in a small town.
