Re: New website

Thank you Jacok for your freindly comment ;)

For the special rows you noticed ;) (with 1-2-3 pics …) that’s the result of magic advices by Oleg (see here: https://forum.textpattern.com/viewtopic.php?pid=319845#p319845). It’s seems obvious etc is a master for TXP experiments!

No plugin used for the “Fake” Instagram feed: just images uploaded from the TXP back-office with the corresponding links included into the “Alt Text” (I didn’t want to load external dependencies provided by fb).

I remember that thread with Oleg’s radically simplified solution. But I meant the overlaid images on the about page that you’ve stacked with z-index or shifted in position, made grey etc. On closer inspection, I suspect you hand-coded that because it looks pretty complex to make into a short-tag form. I’ve played with – or struggled with – ways to automate different combined image display mechanisms…

:-) That’s exactly why I asked. I know there’s oui_instagram but I’m not sure how much it brings in from FB when just showing the images (obviously the images themselves and when you click on them). I’ve used tweetledee to pre-retrieve twitter feeds so that you can display them without your visitors being sent all tw*tter’s gunk. I wonder if there’s something similar for instagram. Alternatively, you might want to suggest PixelFed (a federated instagram equivalent) to them but again it depends how much they use instagram #hashtags to be discovered.

Sorry Jakob, I didn’t understand you want the code. Here it is:
