Re: Simplr Theme
Oh!
Please, bici, remove display:grid
into the .aside-inner
(default.css
file) declaration in order to restore the presentation of the main menu: vertically centered into the page (I don’t know why I added it).
I will update the theme (done: you can download the new simplr-dist.zip
file from GitHub and reinstall the theme).
That’s so funny: How the “Simplr” theme deals with the old IE browser?

Re: Simplr Theme
Hi bici ;)
I just made a new fresh installation of this theme without any problems:
- Download the theme folder in the
root\theme
directory (unzip the package before); - By clicking on the link “Preview” in front of the name of the theme from the “Themes” panel;
- Access to the public site.
If you want to use this theme for your visitors, you need to associate the default
page to the “default” section.
Check its default
and error_default
pages to set all variables according to your needs.
If you use this theme with an existing website (during its developpment), all URLs included into search engines result pages will be served with a 503 Service Temporarily Unavailable + Retry-After: 3600 header (without any concequencies on your SEO) until you activate your definitiv theme.

Re: Simplr Theme
i am unable to activate the theme.
Warning: cannot read from directories/files /home/USER/apps/babaleo_app/themes/dist/manifest.json
notice that in that path there is no “wait-me-matser” folder name as i would expect.
i downloaded the theme in zip format to my desktop. i unzip the folder. i then uploadted the folder to my server in the /themes/folder
i chown the folder to 777, but it never loads. the Admin interface cannot upload it or use it???
If i get rid of the folder “wait-me-matser” i see the theme but i don’t think this correct or desirable

Re: Simplr Theme
Hi bici,
Try downloading from the releases page of the wait-me theme. In the zip file there, Patrick’s made a ready-made folder called wait-me
you just need to place in your /themes/
folder.
If you downloaded the whole repo, you can also just put the folder named dist
into your /themes/
folder and then rename dist -> wait-me
. You should end up with the same result.

Thanks @Jakob
And @pat64 is there a reason why there is no image included in your distrubtion?
my pithy wait for me site
I would suggest much ore verbose documnebation on the process. i dont think a newbie to TxP will have much luck in installing a theme.
( an aside —the button to install a theme is labeled <upload> …rather counter intuitive as the theme is already uploaded)
PS Pat nice touch on the social buttons and esp the contact button
