Yes I’ve noticed this to a certain extent too. Maybe it’s having position: relative; on the button active state. Try it now and let me know if more responsive (I’ve moved position: relative; to the default button state. Worth a try, and it feels snappier to me now.

I am here to note that the scroll bar is white on white in Safari. But it is dark grey on black in Firefox. It is rather annoying. Anyone else experiencing?. This issue of the scroll bar only occurs on Textpattern.

That is a long standing issue, see this thread possible simple fixes to the forum design (and other Textpattern sites).
And yes it is annoying.
Where is that emoji for a solar powered submarine when you need it ?
