Here is a minimal test case
Screenshots on 10.12 + Android appreciated, tia.
Here’s a screenshot from Safari on 10.12. No ligature visible. Same with chrome and firefox.

Been out of the loop for a few weeks – just wanted to say I like the new improvements to the forum, Phil! And to the docs. Thanks!

Thanks for that – that is exactly what I expected to see, and I’m glad to see that Apple didn’t make much changes between 10.11 and 10.12.
The San Fransisco font doesn’t have ligatures, that is by design I think, being primarily a UI font (on the web, it is vey nice to use for web apps or admin UIs, like the TXP back-end. I wouldn’t use it for flow text oriented sites, though).
PS – I hadn’t noticed until now, since the upgrade the textareas
here on the forum don’t use the auto-size script anymore… (I usually compose my posts and replies in Textedit).

Love the larger font. Thanks!
The social icons in footer are doing something weird, seem to be distorted and stretching across the four squares. Without posting a screenshot, you could say they are, descriptively:
- Face…
- Fwitter
- Twoog
- oogle+
That’s in FF and Safari.

I’ve also seen chewed up logos but AFAIR (two weeks ago) that was gone after a forced reload.

I had already mentioned this at the beginning, but then it was corrected. Could it be a problem with the cache?

Quick Experiment on Windows 10
Chrome. Edge, Internet Explorer – Displays correctly
Firefox – The image above. The version I use at work is an LTS version months out of date. I just updated to Version 50 here No Effect.

Do you see any error message in the console?
Earlier today I saw something related to Content Security Policy
in Firefox (js related from memory), but can’t reproduce it right now. At the same time I saw an error in the Safari console – require.js
flagged a timeout with Jquery, again not seeing it right now.
Otherwise, clear caches, or try to load the sprite directly (http://forum.textpattern.com/style/Textpattern/img/branding/misc/icon-sprite.svg).

Re: Forum updated
I tried loading the sprite directly. I went to the url and saw the non-gh. I hit refresh and it showed me the updated version. But when I went tried browsing the site it would still not display correctly.
So I went to options and cleared everything. It is working correctly now.

Re: Forum updated
Ok thanks for the report. In future if I change the sprite I’ll give it a new name to avoid cache issues again.
