Els, I have you in my crosshairs :-)
This message marks my 7000th post here on the Textpattern forum. That means there’s only a few hundred more to go before I’m potentially the top poster. Crazy. And I still remember the trepidation of hitting ‘Submit’ for the first time many years ago…
Not that it in any way diminishes Els’ awesome achievement to be Queen of the forum for the past twelve years. Just thought I’d mention it as a milestone for my own amusement.
There’ll be more random outpourings from me under the dubious banner of ‘help’ in future, I’m sure. Assuming you can put up with me a while longer.
Vive Textpattern! Huge thanks to everyone who uses it and helps make it what it is. You’re all brilliant. And I’d best shut up before a sentimental tear behind my glasses blurs my vision.

hey Steff,
Great post to mark the milestone! Thanks for all your hopefully long continuing support and your work for txp.

Re: Els, I have you in my crosshairs :-)
LOL damn. Serves me right for laying low for such a long time… ;)
Honestly, it’s not because I don’t like txp and all of you anymore… I have been, and still am, way more busy than I’d like to be. I’m even still working on a couple of txp sites, though I’m afraid my clients (who fortunately are also friends) won’t think the word ‘working’ very appropriate ;)
Thanks Stef, this might actually be just the motivation I need to put a little bit more effort into my visibility over here :) And congratulations on your milestone of course!

There was another Txp Olympics event, marked by the wiki contribution scores. Albeit that score keeper extension was added some years after the original wiki launch, but Els nearly won the gold medal there too, with Bloke taking bronze.

A bit late to this thread, but congrats, Steff.
Some of those posts were to assist me, so once again many thanks!

Not sure when exactly this happened, but you did it… Congratulations, Stef :)
(Funny that I notice this today of all days, it’s my 13th anniversary over here…)

Hehe, thank you. I reckon if anyone cuts me in half, I’ll have “smd <3 txp” running through me, like a stick of seaside rock.
I’m still keeping the lights on… just. Tied up with new day job and music until at least next month, but I’m still monitoring the forums and drop in when I can. Even if it is to post random stuff about food!

Wow, 2004. That’s awesome. A full 603 days ahead of my first day in the joint. Also, a Sunday, as it happens. I’ve got a glass of wine nearby, so here’s a *chink* to your achievement too.
