Speaking of which, I took some house guests up to castle Haut-Koenigsbourg yesterday (a beautiful day to be out) and we passed a peloton of old bullfrogs making the ascent up the Vosges. Quite an impressive site, these guys in their 50s and 60s with legs like Eric Heiden. Probably all live in the hillside villages there and do it every week.
