Good WYSIWYG and WYSIWYM plugins for Textpattern

A problem with Textpattern, once one wants to use it as basis for some client, is that it is based on Textile. I like Textile myself, but clients etc do not necessarily like it. And even if they are motivated, it takes explaining.

Idea: perhaps there is a middle ground: The WYSIWYGy/WYSIWYMy Textile editor . https://github.com/PEZ/Sanskrit ?!

Anyway: Which WYSIWYG plug-ins are there for Textpattern that work well?

hak_tinymce is pretty much only thing there is. There is also rah_textile_bar, but it is not a WYSIWYG, but a quick tag inserting bar.

There is also joh_admin_markitup and joh_admin_ckeditor, but those do not work out of the box, I believe.

Re: Good WYSIWYG and WYSIWYM plugins for Textpattern

I installed Respond CMS today and played around with it a bit. I don’t want to leave Textpattern, but I think many clients would really like the UI of Respond’s Editor vs. using Textile or TinyMCE. http://respondcms.com/feature/editor

Would it be possible to take the Respond text editor and make it into a plugin for Textpattern articles (body, excerpt, and maybe even custom fields)? If so, would any developers be willing to take a stab at it for a ransom? The license states that Respond source code may be used free with attribution.
