There are more changes than that:
- Category table’s parent-child associations break and the table malforms on name updates, if two different category types share same category name: r4972
- Image caption isn’t escaped: r5084
- Admin-side JavaScript dies on Safari 5, or any other possible browser that doesn’t allow re-defining keywords or constructs as variables: r5005 and r5004

Apologies for being stupid here. Are those new bugs or squashed ones?

I’ve updated Robert’s announcement article to list those fixed issues too. Cheers.

Good work! Thanks, Textpattern dev team!
From blog article:
“(…) establishes compatibility with PHP 5.5, (…)”
Does this mean that the issue with txp:yield is solved?

Yes. You should be able to run 4.5.5 on PHP 5.5. There are still deprecated stuff being used, and you will get some notices in debugging mode and error logs;
- The old Textile version used in 4.5.x (including 4.5.5) uses PCRE functions’ deprecated ‘e’ flag.
- The legacy MySQL extension used for database connections was deprecated in PHP 5.5.

Hi folks ;)
First of all: thanks devs for your work! Just amazing.
-On a fresh multisites TXP 4.5.5 install, I created 2 users (Advanced Writer level). When I want to assign the default “Welcome to your site!” article to a new writer, I can’t.
Nothing append (no ajax effect) and the “admin” user still assigned-.
Edit: It seems that’s a javascript problem.
2sd Edit: Solved.

Re: Feedback to: Textpattern CMS 4.5.5 released
After an update from Textpattern 4.5.4 to 4.5.5 the following plugin tag doesn’t work properly:
<txp:soo_page_links window_size="10" wraptag="span" class="anzahl-seiten" active_class="aktiv" />
Now it shows the number of articles instead the numbers of pages, as before of the Textpattern update.
Does anyone have an idea why?

Re: Feedback to: Textpattern CMS 4.5.5 released
Hello, after upgrading a multisite installation from 4.4.1 to 4.5.5, recognized some misbehaviour on the admin_side.
In the plugin section, there are the statuses invisible. After inspecting it with some tools, I recognized, that this css rule is working:
.not-ready .doc-ready, .not-ready form.async input[type="submit"], .not-ready a.async {visibility: hidden;}
from txplib_head.php
Tested with Firefox and Chrome
I also recognized, that it is impossible to select all plugins or all log entries
<input type="checkbox" value="0" name="select_all" id="select_all">
I couldn’t find any missing file or php errors.
In a single site installation everything worked fine.

Re: Feedback to: Textpattern CMS 4.5.5 released
Solved!
Sorry, I had two <txp:article /> tags on the same page. That was my fault.
