Re: Christmas fund for TXP Developers 2012

Thank you to the 39 contributors from the Textpattern community. The 2012 Christmas fund for TXP Developers is over and we managed to raise a record amount – US$1735!

After accounting for the US$80 or so in PayPal fees, we had around US$330 to give to each of our TXP developer friends:

  1. Stef Dawson
  2. Jukka Svahn
  3. Phil Wareham
  4. Robert Wetzlmayr

This year, in recognition for his outstanding efforts to not only develop and relaunch TXP magazine but also for introducing a revamped Textpattern social media strategy via Twitter, Facebook and Google+, we are also recognising and thanking Destry Wion.

Our great thanks to the 4 core developers and Destry. You’ve made it a great year for the software and its community, and we are thankful for your past and continuing efforts to improve Textpattern – the versatile, elegant and easy-to-use content management system.

Have a great 2013!

Banjo! Tree rattling is an important part of my role, but I had no idea it was an xmas tree. I didn’t see that coming. I am truly surprised, and honored. Thanks core, and Jonathan, and everyone that tolerates me. You are a golden bunch. I will sip spirits and blow smoke rings to your health and success in the new year, and to more great strides for the Txp project!

A few words of thanks were given in the Textpattern G+ Community too.

Re: Christmas fund for TXP Developers 2012

Abject poverty and custom wine software has kept me from contributing this year, but I’ll be back…

I think this has been the best year for TXP Devs by a long shot. -Many thanks for all the hard work…
