Re: New admin-side theme
Have you checked the source code on the front side, is it showing the correct tags? The admin side should be completely separate from the front side so this theme won’t be affecting the CSS front side. I’ve not been able to replicate your issue here – strange.

That problem was solved. Turned out to be due to a “reset” oversight.
New issue, however. I notice that when using smd_bio, for example, and when hovering over the edit link for a given user account in the Users panel, the hover popup is behind the users list table, so you can’t see it. The hover is probably an smb_bio function, but it either needs brought to front or removed altogether.
Ed. Using Chrome browser on Mac. Not tested elsewhere.

@Destry
Can you open an issue on the github page, I can then keep track and fix these bugs when I next work on the project. Cheers.

…it’s taken having themes being written to find the shortfalls with the admin side, and the only thing we can do is try to make our plugins play nicely with themes, and maybe have theme authors expand the theme guidelines on the wiki to write about things that work best, things that don’t work as well, and so on so we build up a knowledge base that helps other themers and plugin writers to co-exist on the platform.
As people may know, I’ve started a placeholder to get this rolling in a collaborative way, at least in terms of the documentation part. I can help keep it edited and organized if others start putting into it. A first start might be to outline what the documentation structure will be, or might be (it can change as we go).

I’d be quite happy to provide UI widgets, HTML structure and styling documentation to TXP5 for the admin side … best bet is to get this new structure nailed down and documented early in TXP5 development and then certify each new or updated existing plugin conforms to the new structure in a timely fashion.
Do you need a wiki account? :)

Ok, sign me up. I’ll take a look at some point when I can spare the time.

Re: New admin-side theme
Phil, I just saw that your theme doesn’t support the .moderate
class, at least in the version I’m using, which for sure isn’t the most current recent one, so you might have changed this long ago.
Anyway, for your orientation, this class is the only possibility to distinguish unmoderated comments from the rest in the terse form of the list (_no_-details view).

Thanks Uli, it is now
You can see how it displays here
Though note that if you are using the Hive theme from last year, this latest admin theme work is a complete rewrite (and currently unfinished, and requires Txp v4.5). Please let me know if you find other issues though as it all helps improve the theme.

Thanks.

I’m very grateful, BTW, for the active class on the navigation’s top level menu items, formerly known as Tabs.

Wow, Phil. That new version is looking good, bra! The color contrasts are so much better than all the gun-metal shades in the first versions, IMO. Really appreciate the larger fonts too.

I love that this kills the whole “tab” concept and that my moves to using “panel” in the wiki a long time ago will mean a lot less hunt and peck now. +1

Logic fail there, dude. You already changed the “tab(s)” to panel(s), so you won’t have to hunt and peck anyway (as much).

Ha-ha! Yup. Good one. But at least I don’t send myself emails.
