Re: convert textpattern to wordpress please ?

@tintin,

Just an FYI with regard to the “quote” feature in the forum here. The quote breaks if there is a line space between sentences or paragraphs. If you use a period (for example), in place of a line space, you can quote the whole passage. Even better, of course, is to simply quote the sentence that you are most directly replying to, rather than the entire post of the commenter you’re quoting.

Or you can use Textile’s long blocks, as I did there. Instead of bq. you can use bq.. which would make a long block (see the double dots) that doesn’t break from line breaks. To break said long block, you would use an other block tag, like for example p. to tell the previous block to end.

You can see an usage example by quoting my post (hit the reply link next to my post and you should be able to see my post’s original markup).

Re: convert textpattern to wordpress please ?

I like Colak’s answer #2

Especially after the OP’s reply #4

There are 10 types of people in the world: those who understand binary, and those who don’t.

Re: convert textpattern to wordpress please ?

I second Colak #2, too. :)
And i find the rest of the thread quite helpful, especially after recently one of my Textpattern-based clients really wanted to switch to WP.
Client is always right, and Destry in #3 nails it, because the simple analysis of their content was already enough reason to stay with Textpattern and just do a reorganisation of their content. Hehe.
TXP is simply awesome..
