Re: wet_quicklink: Quick internal link builder
This would happen when the site’s language is neither German nor English, as the plugin contains only textpacks for these two languages.
Try to add a textpack in your site’s language. Here’s a sample in English (replace the language code en-gb
with one which matches your site’s language setting and change the two right-hand translations, then paste in into the Textpack box at the bottom of Admin > Preferences > Language
):
#@admin
#@language en-gb
wet_quicklink_insert_link => Insert Link
wet_quicklink_loading => Loading…

Re: wet_quicklink: Quick internal link builder
Thanks Robert, this works very well. Could you add en-us to the official 0.8.2 release of wet_quicklink? I guess this would be very helpful for those who actually use english textpacks but with the different locale.
Or generally, is there a way to introduce a more speaking error message that could indicate a missing translation string?

Re: wet_quicklink: Quick internal link builder
Robert:
I just had two other clients ask for the functionality of easily inserting article links into the tinymce editor. Any chance you were able to take a look to see if it can be done . I can get around the issue with one of them using quicklink in custom fields but the other two are a little more difficult.
Thanks.

Sorry, I am busy elsewhere. It’s on my plans but certainly not during the next two months.

Re: wet_quicklink: Quick internal link builder
Subscribers, FYI:
I recently found that after an upgrade fom TXP 4.2.0 to 4.4.1 wet_quicklink stopped popping up. The reason was bot_wtc: after recreating its table wet_quicklink was back alive.

Re: wet_quicklink: Quick internal link builder
I tried to install wet_quicklink (Txp 4.5.1) … nope … Internal Server Error. The wet_peex did install. What to do to solve this problem … if it is one!

Re: wet_quicklink: Quick internal link builder
singaz, have you thought of installing wet_peex, too? Both: current version? Cause I’ve just tried that combo in a very quick test, and it seems to work on my dev version (~3 weeks old), no errors, tags are inserted where the cursor is placed, I could switch/paste the code “flavour”.

Re: wet_quicklink: Quick internal link builder
uli, yes, tags are inserted where the cursor is placed. Code can be inserted. It is working.
Used wet_quicklink v0.8.2 and wet_peex v1.0.
The error is displayed in mode:

Works with up-to-date Textpattern versions 4.8.8, 4.9-dev.
