Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] ebl_image_edit v1.0
In any event, I’m setting up a bitbucket repository where the latest versions will be available.

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] ebl_image_edit v1.0
I’m still debating adding a watermark function as well.
If I do, where would be the best default location? Top Left, Center, Bottom Right, etc?

Not sure about adding GD sharpening. That would best done through Photoshop/GIMP I would imagine.
Yes, at least that’s the way I do it. But it’s not me who needs the plugin, and I wouldn’t want to let untrained persons operate these applications either, let alone teaching them how to before I can can hand over TXP.

updated thumbnail dimensions on edit of thumbnails.

Huh? Elaborate or make me a sandwich.
Had that on the last project I was working on. Of 16 thumbnails I changed with the plugin only one thumbnail’s dimensions found its way into the database. I cleared the cache by any (reasonable ;) method I know of, until I had the idea to look into the db, and there I found all the old dimensions.
The steps I took? Nothing too unusual, chose “Thumbnail”, “Use predefined size”, “Lock Aspect Ratio”, “Resize Thumbnail” and entered the dimensions (the latter is a step I don’t understand as it seems a contradiction to “Use predefined size”, but it seems to need exactly that.)
In bad weather I never leave home without wet_plugout, smd_where_used and adi_form_links

Well, that’s definitely a bug that should be fixed.

Should there be a delete backup option as well?
Yup. And I’d prefer it as a third button, for consciously keeping disk space free, not a checkbox ticked on restoring pictures.

Eric,
since you asked, I still think the crop&resize-in-one-step behaviour as I described here, would be a useful refinement saving users quite a few clicks.

OK, let’s see if, this time, this request passes the filter
“To be able to select the folder where the resulting image (of a crop, thumbnail creation, resize or rotation) will be saved.”
The list of folders (presented via a simple select
) will be populated from existing folders inside the /images/
folder (maybe excluding the /backup/
folder).

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] ebl_image_edit v1.0
Any chance of preserving embedded ICC colour profiles when editing an image?
Currently the profile gets stripped, but I suspect, this is how jcrop works and has nothing to do with your plugin.

That’s a GD thing. I’ll check to see if there is anything else I can do to preserve this.

I may consider implementing this. I hope to be tipped though :)

As some of you may be aware, I’m doing the Law School thing. As a law student, poverty is abound. SO while the Plugin will remain free and the licensing remains the same, I ask for $5.00 each time you install it, though I can’t require it and I completely understand if you cant. Heck, you might think this plugin royally sucks.
In any event, this helps continued development.
