Why use WordPress (instead of Expression Engine)?
In the third of my Wordpress vs. X series, I offer Why I Use WordPress. Jason Paul explains why he uses WordPress and doesn’t use Expression Engine. I thought some of points made by him and the comments offered by some upset EE users might be of interest around here because I think Textpattern actually offers the best of both approaches in many ways – being more of a cms than a blog engine to start with, while being open source and having a template tag system.
And we do engage in this sort of discussion from time to time.
