[request] WYSIWYG plugin image

A thing that makes a big difference from WP and TXP, according to me, is a simpler way to manage the images. I mean a way to simply load an image and insert in the article with the possibility to add/hide an image border or to align it on the left, on the right and so on.

Maybe it’s my fault but until now I’ve added these images layout effects with CSS classes: it isn’t so user friendly…

Is there a way/image plugin that allows to insert and preview (live) varios images effects/positions before publishing the article?

Thanks in advance.

Re: [request] WYSIWYG plugin image

Maybe I’ve explained the problem in a wrong way…

Is there a plugin image that allows a more flexible image usage already?
I mean: is there a plugin for textpattern that allows to load an image and choose (by a dropdown menu, for example) the style of the image (align left with no border, align left with no border, align left with another custom border, align right… and so on) directly from the align styles specified in the CSS?

A feature like this I think it would be very useful.

Re: [request] WYSIWYG plugin image

Have you thought of assigning different forms (containing different CSS classes) via the override form menu? Of course only viable if the article shall contain just one image or all images shall be treated the same way.

Re: [request] WYSIWYG plugin image

Have you considered using hak_tinymce? I recently deployed this on a site and have been highly impressed by the way it works (great WYSIWYG and very configurable). hakjoon has enabled it to work with Textpattern’s images with a simple GUI. You can see the image within the editor and apply formatting to the image (including your own predefined classes).

I would imagine this does exactly what you want straight out of the box!
