Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] sed_section_fields
Here are the rows for the different sections. Is the fact that some are capitalized causing a problem?
1 sed_sf_services_field_labels cf=“1111100000”;ss=“0”; 2 sed_sf text_input 0 1 sed_sf_Testimonials_field_labels cf=“0000100000”;ss=“0”; 2 sed_sf text_input 0 1 sed_sf_Accident_field_labels cf=“1111100000”;ss=“0”; 2 sed_sf text_input 0 1 sed_sf_Contact_field_labels cf=“0000000000”;ss=“1”; 2 sed_sf text_input 0 1 sed_sf_about_field_labels cf=“1111100000”;ss=“1”; 2 sed_sf text_input 0

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] sed_section_fields
Thanks Les. The fields look well formed to me, but it’s late here now (almost 3am) so I’d better defer my thinking on this to tomorrow.
In the meantime why not go ahead and change just that row to lowercase as a test. But if your Accident field values are being saved ok then I doubt it’s an issue with the capitals.

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] sed_section_fields
that worked. I also seem to remember having trouble with one of the other sections, but I think I somehow got it to work. Thanks a lot for the help!

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] sed_section_fields
Les,
Thanks for trying that. I’ll check the code for capitalization issues on the field names tomorrow.

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] sed_section_fields
Les
had a look at the code and can’t spot anything glaringly obvious. If you get a chance, could you try and reproduce the problem and let me know what steps I need to take to see it for myself?
Many thanks

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] sed_section_fields
The plugin is not work with textpattern 4.2.0. When I install and activate it, and then go to sections page I don’t see new added settings.
In 4.0.6 plugin was installed successful, but I can’t find, how I can do this:
“Sections can be excluded from the write tab section selection box that non-publisher admin users get to see”

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] sed_section_fields
Someone having trouble when they have more than 10 custom fields?
All the fields over the #10 (11 to 20) dont show up in the sections tab (using sed_section_fields).
Not sure if this is a problem with sed_section_fields or glz_custom_fields
I am using Gerhard´s version of Textpatter.
It has been an issue before, but now my client cant stand all the customefields unorganized anymore…
Has someone had the same issue?
Is anyone using these 2 plugins at the same time and has more than 10 custom fields?
Is there anything I am missing?
Thanks!

If you are using TXP 4.2.0 then yes, the answer is that neither this nor glz_custom_fields have been updated to work with the latest TXP yet. But you haven’t said which versions of TXP and this plugin you are using so it’s just a stab in the dark.

I didn’t know Gerhard made his own version of Textpattern. If it’s not a standard version of TXP then I can’t help, as I don’t know what he did to it. For the record I had no problem with a standard 4.0.8 and the very latest versions of glz_cf (v1.1.3) and sed_sf (v0.5.20exp) installed so perhaps something is messed up with your installation?
