Re: asv_tumblelog
It is the same problem as post 46:

at the moment, forms i am trying are from the default txp install (lo-fi)
<h3 class=“entry-title”><txp:permlink><txp:title /></txp:permlink></h3>
<p class=“published”><txp:posted /></p>
<div class=“entry-content”>
<txp:body />
</div>
<hr />
I am a non – coder, does the content of the form have any bearing on the import process?

Definitely NO!
The form used is only telling TXP how to output the received content.
I am not posting via bookmarklet so I can’t help with that issue.
A part of the form which I use to post my delicious.com bookmarks
- d.i.u logo with permalink
- Title with original link URL from custom_field ‘Source Link Field’
(wrapped for better code reading)
<h3><txp:permlink>
<img alt="del.icio.us Logo" title="Lesezeichen von del.icio.us" src="http://sankt-georg.info//img/i-del.gif" />
</txp:permlink>
<a title="Lesezeichen URL: <txp:custom_field name="Sammlung: Source Link Field" />"
href="<txp:custom_field name="Sammlung: Source Link Field" />" rel="bookmark">
<txp:title /></a></h3>
Does this help regarding your problem with the ‘original link’ issue?

Re: asv_tumblelog
I should have mentioned that there are a couple of admin side options under asv_tumblelo to take care of. The options are kind of inconsistent as the changes are valid and changing at different places.
In my case:
- asv_tumblelog_sourcelink is “Sammlung: Source Link Field” – Here asv_tumblelog stores the link to the original feed item.
- asv_tumblelog_feed_id_field is “Sammlung: Feed ID Field” – Every feed you import gets a unique ID number.
Tip: Both custom fields are good sources to trigger different outputs. Also in feed attachments via eg tru_tags.
Btw: Does somebody know what “asv_tumblelog_rssfeedpage” is meant for?

Re: asv_tumblelog
Hi, I have a tiny bit of a problem with the plugin: I checked everywhere but could not find what can be wrong. It is with the actual page on which I would like the tumbelog to appear:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: pagetop() in /some/path/to/site/textpattern/lib/txplib_misc.php(574) : eval()'d code on line 1213
Can anyone help me, please?

Re: asv_tumblelog
I’ve got the same problem described by sthmtc at post #51:
i’m running v1.6.2 in txp 4.0.6, everything is working nice and smooth except for the fact that no article url-only titles are generated. i don’t know if that problem existed in 4.0.5 but iirc the way article url titles are generated in 4.0.6 has changed. (i’m not sure, though)
anyway: without the url title, the posts are displayed in an article list but not an individual article view; there it justs results in a 404 (for obvious reasons). the only way to make the article accessible is by re-saving the article manually.
The problem is not with the url of the source, which is saved correctly in a custom field. It is indeed with the url-title field, the one which normally stores the permalink of every post.
Is there a hack or something else to solve it? I’m using txp 4.0.7.
Thanks

@Vittorio: Did you solve the problem? I have no idea what that bump means in Italien :)

Ahah, it was just to keep this thread high in the list. No meaning!
Unfortunately, I’m still looking for a solution… :(

Re: asv_tumblelog
Does the code example #92 from above help?
In my 4.0.6 and 4.0.7 a delicious.com feed is handled fine and the items titles are used to generate the clean URLs.
Which feed is making problems? All feeds?

The problem doesn’t concern the feeds, it is with the bookmarklet and the quick-post you publish with it (like in tumblr): when I use the bookmarklet provided with the plugin to quick-post links/images/etc, the url of the source i’m taking from is correctly saved in a custom field, but the url of the post i’m creating is not saved in the url-title field, and the new post doesn’t get a permalink. To do it, i have to re-open the post in the “classic” write panel and re-save it.
I think a small hack to the bookmarklet’s code should suffice, but I have no idea of how to do it…

Re: asv_tumblelog
Mostly very impressed, but have a few questions:
1. Is it possible to collate all entries to one article per date? That is, to have all Tweets (for example) for each day appear as one article, rather than many?
2. Is there a special command to run a cron job? In my site control panel I have a link to the URL (http://www.mysite.co.uk/?asv_tumblelog_updatefeeds=1), but it doesn’t seem to work; do I need to provide a more specific command?
3. The created articles don’t have a URL title; have I missed a step to make that work?

Re: asv_tumblelog
umm, does anyone know how to implement this in a form (actually, which tag to use to make some things show up on the form, such as link for link-type post)?
