change the default of Article & Excerpt Markup

Hey!
I need to change the default of Article & Excerpt Markup
so that the Article Markup will be – ‘Convert Linebreaks’
and the Excerpt Markup will be – ‘Leave text untouched’
how and can I do this please?

If I’m going to:
Admin >
Preferences >
Publish >
I can find “Use Textile”
and change it to ‘Convert Linebreaks’, which works fine!
but the Excerpt Markup will be ‘Convert Linebreaks’ too, and I need it to be ‘Leave text untouched’.

Thanks!

Thanks but it’s not working
it’s doesn’t do anything, it’s still on ‘Convert Linebreaks’ instead of on ‘Leave text untouched’.

The Write tab advanced options lets you choose for every article.

Re: change the default of Article & Excerpt Markup

You could probably write a plugin that kicks some javascript off on the write page to change the value of that field automagically.

My Plugins

Piwik Dashboard, Google Analytics Dashboard, Minibar, Article Image Colorpicker, Admin Datepicker, Admin Google Map, Admin Colorpicker
