Re: Multiple image/file uploads

With my original idea you would still have to select images one at a time.
Upload dialog does not allow multiple selection…Unless you use flash like ebl_upload .
Sure hoping the new interface looks more like TXP.

What about zip upload/extraction?
The ability to create thumbs and assign a category would still need to be there of course.
zenphoto has this feature – and I’ve been using it a lot lately – works well.

I’m sure there are server config issues with this – but still worth exploring – no?

Thoughts?

renobird> For an alternate solution try filethingy with the default folder set to you “images/import” directory then you can just upload zipped folders of images and unzip them without, then you can let fpx take over.

Bit convoluted, but that’s what I’m doing until someone builds a nice lightweight multiple file upload.

Hey Dale,

Thanks for the heads up on filethingy.
I’m going to download and check it out now.

Re: Multiple image/file uploads

yep. That’s a pretty cool app.
Could use a little help on the UI front though.

Sure, it took me a while to figure out you could actually decompress stuff. I was thinking somebody might adapt the file upload and decompress parts of the script and add it to fpx image import. no ftp.

Wish I were a php guy
