[request] jWYSIWYG

I would like to see this: http://projects.bundleweb.com.ar/jWYSIWYG/ rolled into a plugin.

It would (in a perfect world):

  • Have a link builder which selects from all articles in the database
  • Insert images from the databse

txtstrap (Textpattern + Twitter Bootstrap + etc…)

hak_tinymce WYSIWYG article editor?

Not quite. If you look at the demo example for jWYSIWYG it’s a bit different. hak_tinymce is probably a lot more rich in what you can do but the jWYSIWYG might be a good building block for a newer WYSIWYG for TXP. One that is integrated with the database so that it can grab links, images, files, and articles urls.

In my limited abiltiy to asses the true efficiency of js scripts, jWYSIWYG seems to be really well thought out and condensed much like TXP and I thought it would be a could match.

I thought it would be worth a mention here for Textpattern people becuase of /textpattern/jquery.js.
