Uggg....W3C validation problems
Im try to get my site to validate with w3c.org but I am having problems applying font styles to a category list.
Here is how I have it setup:
<txp:category_list sort=“title asc” type=“article” wraptag=“h7”/>While this produces the desired effect in the browser, W3c.org dosen’t like it. While I understand the reason why it dosen’t validate, I can’t figure out another way to apply “h7” to this article list in a way that will validate. Maybe my brain is fried but no matter what I do, I can seem to solve this seemingly simple problem. Please help!

Have you already used h1 through h6?
Or to phrase it differently: what is the desired effect you want to achieve?

Re: Uggg....W3C validation problems
Well, long long ago, I had used h1 through h7 but I currently only use h1 through h4 and h7. Could the absence of h5 & h6 cause me problems? I am just trying to change the font size of the category list font and its color.

Re: Uggg....W3C validation problems
The reason is: There is no h7 headline.
There are only h1 – h6 allowed.
IIRC h7 is in draft.

Re: Uggg....W3C validation problems
Just to be clear, xhtml refrence says that h1 should always be the largest heading and h6 the smallest. In practice, does this matter?

Nope, if you style it with css it doesn’t matter. It could only a little bit confusing for viewers, if the semantic sizes are not used.
