uploading multiple images
Hello everyone, sorry for all the questions so far (Textpattern learning day for beginners)
So far I have created a Textpattern site from my original static website (needs to be dynamic). The css I used for the original has been placed into the new textpattern site and the default pages have been updated(re-saved). The images I originally used be uploaded. Is there an easier way to upload images through the images tab? I have quite a few images that are used for backgrounds etc.
Thanks
rob

Re: uploading multiple images
The only way I’m aware of to upload multiple images to TXP is through the EBL_upload plug-in which will cost you a small amount. On the other hand, as these are site design images, you could FTP the images to a different directory such as “site_images” ensuring that your CSS points to that directory. This would be a way of keeping your site images separate from your article images.

Re: uploading multiple images
So managing the design’s web graphics can be moved the images folder (background images that wont change). But for content images these need uploading (include in the database).

Re: uploading multiple images
And this should do the job also: http://textpattern.org/plugins/599/fpx_image_import
I use it for importing tens of images at one time – they can be categorized during import too, which is important for me.
