Sorry for may be silly questions, but..:
1. This plugin shows posts from various rss-feeds?
2. Does it imports data into txp articles?
3. Can I add my own feeds?
:)

yes, to 1-3

  • Do you have SimplePie installed (meaning you uploaded SimplePie.inc and in asv_tumblelog Settings you added the path to SimplePie)?

yes, i’ve installed the latest version of simplepie. it worked fine before (v1.4), i’ve added two feeds and imported them just fine.

  • What’s the feed you are trying to import?

this and this it doesn’t work with any of them, i’ve added (and imported) these feeds just fine before: “a”:feed://del.icio.us/rss/asthmatic/stream+design and b

Re: asv_tumblelog

I just tested against my sample install and it’s working just fine so let’s dig deeper here.
  • What’s version of PHP and MySQL do you have?
  • Do you have curl enabled?

This is soooooo cool.
Am really looking forward to having a bit of time to test and play with it. :)

Re: asv_tumblelog

sthmtc’s problem was due to a bug and has been subsequently fixed, and of course he found another bug which has been subsequently fixed so we’re at v1.5.2 right now.

Thanks sthmtc!!

Re: asv_tumblelog

When I’m using the bookmarket (txp 4.0.5) in the popup I get:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: curl_init() in /www/XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX/textpattern/lib/txplib_misc.php(534) : eval()’d code on line 515

Any idea?

Re: asv_tumblelog

mmm. Maybe I don’t get it at all. When I manually add a feed it return always “not a valid feed”… but it is a valid feed. :) I suppose some help is needed…

Re: asv_tumblelog

Hey Zana – the first error message you posted makes me wonder if your server has curl enabled. Can you check? If you do have cURL enabled, please let me know what version of PHP you are using.

Re: asv_tumblelog

Uhm… I run phpinfo, and cUrl isn’t mentioned. Is there some other test I can do?…

Re: asv_tumblelog

you should see it as an option under the config command, but if it isn’t there then your host doesn’t have it enabled. I would recommend contacting your hosting provider and requesting cURL be enabled.
