Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] bas_flvplayer - Streaming Video

The code I have in my article that works is like this:

<txp:bas_flvplayer video='/files/20060708sprongoverfik.flv' player="files/flvplayer.swf" />

I did not upload the video through the files tab, just ftp’d it, maybe there was a reason for that, but I don’t remember.

Hope this helps.

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] bas_flvplayer - Streaming Video

hi,

my bas plugin still doesn’t work after days of try and error.
now i am wondering if following might be important for this plugin

-clean urls
-newest version of textpattern – maybe an older one is needed?
-Javascript for multiple instances of The Player

i have not any clue why it wont work on my test blog.

cheers,
Erik

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] bas_flvplayer - Streaming Video

I got the plugin working half right. The stream I want to play is coming from a webcam of Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox in Bemidji, MN

http://webtemp2.paulbunyan.net/Webcams/24/paul-babe-webcam

The problem is it auto starts for about a second and then the stream stop playing. I can then hit play and it runs fine, but I’d like it to autoplay without the user having to hit play.

I have autoplay checked on in advanced settings.

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] bas_flvplayer - Streaming Video

Would be interested in having an upgraded JW Player (e.g. version 4.2) working as the core for this plugin as well…

http://samisdat.org/file_download/18 returns 404. Does anyone can reupload it somewhere?
Thanks in advance.
