Re: Importing forms and pages from one TXP site to another. Possible?

Im actually going to recommend yet another plugin, hcg_templates is a better version of mcw_templates, and it’s a breeze to use.
After reading the instructions, there must be a step that I’m missing. I exported the forms, styles, and pages from one server. It was successful.
However, where do those files go? Because I would need to import that file over to my new server.

http://txpide.com/releases/hcg_templates-03
they should have gone into a writable _templates folder in your web directory

Re: Importing forms and pages from one TXP site to another. Possible?
Yeah- that was what I was thinking too. I created a “_templates” folder in my root directory where the textpattern, images, and files directory go. I set permission to 777 but don’t see anything in there. I read the instructions (which wasn’t much) but don’t see what else I’m missing. Is there another folder or file I should be creating?

Doh- never mind. There was an issue with my FTP client. I decided to close it and log in again and the files are there!
