customizing admin article page
Hi,
How would I go about adding more of my custom fields to the article page, as it only shows 2 custom fields by default?
Also, I would like to change a few text inputs to textarea inputs for a couple of custom fields.
thanks

Re: customizing admin article page
the article page shows any custom fields you’ve already made. so if you’ve only got 2, it will only show 2. to add more, go to admin -> preferences -> advanced.
as for textareas instead of text inputs, theres no way you can do that without core hacks or plugins (none of which i know of that exist yet though). gerhard is working on a plugin which i believe should be released pretty soon that will allow you to do things like the following:

and

Re: customizing admin article page
I’m really interested how this is going since I’m doing my search plugin that will search defined custom fields aswell as developing a new version of my webpage which really could use atleast one more textarea to add information into.
I got some questions:
- Will textareas be able to use Textile?
- Will the custom fields and their names be added to
$prefs
?
