I get a blank page in Safari 2.0.4 – I think the culprit is the following HTML:
<script type='text/javascript' src='http://www.sterogers.com/files/'></script>

<script type='text/javascript' src='http://www.sterogers.com/files/'></script>
<link media="screen" type="text/css" href="http://www.sterogers.com/files/" rel="stylesheet">
If you use Firebug, you’ll see the above lines load a directory, not a file.
jm, I literally have tears in my eyes.. the screen capture came back with the website in it after getting rid of those files!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can’t thank either of you enough, I have been tearing my hair out all day wondering what the hell was up with the site on mac!
THANK YOU SO MUCH! I hope it is really working now, but I can get my friend to test it tomorrow..
Just for anyone else who might have an issue, the errors were being output by the lightbox plugin head tag, <txp:bas_lightbox_head />
But I didnt even need the tag because all those files were referenced manually anyway.. so there we go.. omg, I can now sleep!!

Well i caught this late and glad to see it works … nice site …
I have used mootools for similar effects and love it …
Two thoughts for you …
- for your images take away the onclick … i mean if they can’t support lightbox, do you think the onclick will work?
- for your images use rel=“lightbox[xyz]” and then you can get nice prev/next navigation

Re: Mac hates my website design!!!
Thanks dbulli!
The on click stuff throughout the site is probably quite messy, but I made it so that he can use the upm_img_popper plugin to insert images, and if he clicks the popup option, it automatically adds rel=“lightbox” to the code, without him having to know any html! Then I tweaked the vdh_flickr plugin, and added rel=lightbox to it (again on popup), and it worked (which I was pleasantly surprised with).. it is messy, but it works!!

Re: Mac hates my website design!!!
I assumed to add the “rel=“lightbox” you messed with the base code (taghandlers?) If so you could add a “rel” attribute to it .. and modify upm_img to add it also. if you add the group lightbox[xyz] an there is no group i don’t think there is any harm … it is smart enough to know if more than one thing is in the group…

Re: Mac hates my website design!!!
Yeah, I used the base code that generates any popup window on the site.. and I tweaked the plugin code for the flickr one and put the rel tag into the href.. I tried adding it to the href for the portfolio images, and I can’t remember now why it didnt work, using the popup was the only way it worked the way I needed it to.. I think I did try to modify the actual upm plugin aswell, but I tried so many angles before something worked I cant remember the details now!
I’ll check out the upm plugin again and see if there is something I can find there..
