Mac hates my website design!!!
Hi Guys!
I’m in need of a little help for my txp site, said I’d drop by here as I know you guys are really helpful!
It works in everything that I can see, I’ve tested it in Firefox, ie and safari for windows, but my friend who its for, on mac, gets a blank page..
The code is 100% validated, literally not one error in it.. anyone with a mac, or knowledge of this thing that can help me please!!

Hello,
I certainly DO NOT get a blank page on Safari, Camino or Firefox.
The site functions perfectly well.
On a side note: How did you implement the hide and show slider type mechanism for ‘About Me’ etc?
For anymore testing just let me know!

Hi Speedking, thanks for the message!
I cant believe it works for you? Weird.. are you using a mac?
The hide show, is just done with scriptaculous effects, feel free to copy the code! Its quite easy once you get it working once!

Hey I am currently on a mac and can confirm the site loads on: Safari, Camino and Firefox!
I had heard of scriptaculous before but didn’t realise it’s full potential. I like the sliding mechanism as you can ‘hold’ back content and give the user an option to view more.

I am confused now!
I have re-checked and it is blank on Mac Safari. Does it appear fully on the Windows version?
It works on Firefox and Camino which are alternative browsers but not Safari.
Not sure what the issue could be!

I just found something on the net.. someone else had this problem, and if they viewed the site in firefox first, and then in safari it worked, does that happen for you?

I did the following:
1. I refreshed Firefox with your site.
2. I refreshed Safari with your site.
3. Your site appeared but when I hovered the mouse cursor over the content it all quickly disappeared.
4. Refreshed Safari but nothing re-appeared.
Did this a few times and the same thing happens sadly. If just browsing in Safari nothing appears when you keep refreshing.
No worries about helping out as I am new to txp and would like to input back into the community :)

I get a blank page in Safari 2.0.4 – I think the culprit is the following HTML:
<script type='text/javascript' src='http://www.sterogers.com/files/'></script>
[...]
<script type='text/javascript' src='http://www.sterogers.com/files/'></script>
<link media="screen" type="text/css" href="http://www.sterogers.com/files/" rel="stylesheet">If you use Firebug, you’ll see the above lines load a directory, not a file.

I just got rid of them.. I cant believe I never even noticed that!! I hope thats it.. waiting for a screencapture.. this is fierce awkward without a mac in front of me!
