Hiding text from bots

I want to hide my sidebar on my site from bots since the sidebar stuff appears on search engines like this

The sidebar details are preferred by googlebot and they don’t seem to index my meta description or my actual article content.

can somebody pls help me

Had the same problem. If you hide your side bar, you might also prevent bots from indexing your site properly. The way I went about it is to have the ‘sidebar’ appear after the main body…
ie
<txp:output_form form="head" /><txp:article limit="10" /><txp:output_form form="sidebar" />. In that way google and other bots read the content before the links.
