New Bug
If you replace an image you lose the translations for alt and caption text in every in every language.

Is net-carver ok? He hasn’t posted anything in a long while.

We’re still all loving your plug-in!

Don’t think it’s a bug in MLP – have you got glx_admin_image installed?

Even without MLP installed, if you use glx_admin_image (I think) and replace a picture, the caption, alt and category get lost :-( MLP will just compound the issue because you lose the info for all languages, as you’ve noticed.

I might be wrong and don’t want to cast aspersions, but the chances are that glx_admin_image is the bad boy…

EDIT: Just disabled glx_admin_image and the caption/alt info on my test site are still being deleted, so I don’t think it’s that after all. Apologies for duff info. I don’t have MLP installed on that site but there’s definitely one of my plugins causing it, because on a vanilla TXP, any image replacements leave the rest of the data intact. I’ll have to go thru them one by one to find out…

EDIT 2 it’s not a plugin at all – even a vanilla TXP does this. it’s a feature but there is a fix if you don’t mind hacking your txp code.

File Download Problem with MLP

Hi.
I have the same problem as Ivorius. When having a file as a download – in IE 6 this is not possible. Changeing the Header-tags solved this problems in the first line. But after having downloaded a file – th esecond download within the same page is not possible.

The second big problem follows: txp changes the files itself. When putting a PDF (or any other file) in an article – it then links to an other file on the front-end website. This chane of course does not only happen in IE.

Thanks for any support.

Re: MLP - The Multi-Lingual Publishing Pack

Hi,

I’ve got the MLP installed with en-gb (English GB) and ar-dz (Arabic) languages. When I use the l10n_lang_list function I get a list of the languages in native format but the problem is that rather than display ‘English GB’ I need to display just ‘English’ and for Arabic it’s currently showing something other than what I need it to display also. I’ve checked all the values that are output by setting the display attribute to all the available values but none of them are what I need. Is there any way I can change this?

Re: MLP - The Multi-Lingual Publishing Pack

hi millo,
just go to the php file in the folder lib named |10n_en-gb.php open it with a editor than you will see the something like “ # english (GB)” just delete (GB) and upload the file again so it will only display “english”

Re: MLP - The Multi-Lingual Publishing Pack

..or milli,
you go into the |10n_lang.php file in the same folder (lib) and look for the english language in the long list, than you will see also “english (GB)” just delete “(GB)” and upload it!

Re: MLP - The Multi-Lingual Publishing Pack

Hi all,

I have the same problem as Ivorius and Stem.

When I upload MS Word document or some textfile or PDF for example via Textpattern interface, the file is absolutely broken. Images are (I hope) OK.

Any solution?
