Apache and PHP on Windows are cake to setup. The problem I always run into is getting PHP to find MySQL. I’ve read nearly every tutorial out there, but no luck. Doesn’t matter anymore though – my iMac’s already shipped :).

Funny, I never had to do anything odd to get PHP to see MySQL on windows. I actually had problems on OSX when Apple decided to “upgrade” php changing the location where it looked for the mysql socket, with no warning.
