remove <p> wrap from <txp: title> ??
Could someone please help me remove the automatically placed <p> </p> wrapping in the title field.

it’s actually the body tag that it auto wraps in <p>

hmm. i tried reproducing the p insertion on 4.0.4 here: no luck. there is no p tags here around a txp:title from an article form in the resulting sourcecode here. which txp version do you use?
A hole turned upside down is a dome, when there’s also gravity.

Turn off Textile.
