Strips (X)HTML and PHP tags from its input
A remedy for minor annoyances.
Usage:
Surround a block of TXP code, either in a form or in a page template, with <txp:etz_striptags> and </txp:etz_striptags>.
This software is both free as in beer and free as in freedom. If you like it or think it’s useful, you may consider bying me something from my wishlist.

Is there a way to exclude specific tags? I want to keep the <code><br></code>.

Hi Etz,
I really thought that I would never find a use for this plugin but I was <a href=“http://forum.textpattern.com/viewtopic.php?id=13893”>wrong</a>

This plugin works great but I’m using a single url for my excerpt and the output has spaces around the url, which isn’t a valid url.
