Re: [request] Import del.icio.us bookmarks
The ‘instructions’ is pretty much what is explained through the import (or export) process. Since I anticipate the need to expand this to other bookmarking services, I figured it’d be way too much to include in the help and opted to include it individually for each during import or export. No good?
From a single tag? Let me take a look at it. Might be messy, but you never know.

Re: [request] Import del.icio.us bookmarks
The plugin should appear under the extensions tab in your Textpattern admin interface. Then select the ‘ajw_bookmarks’ tab and choose ‘Import bookmarks from del.icio.us’. After entering your del.icio.us username, the import steps should be displayed for you.
Sorry about having an empty ‘help’ dialogue; I’ll work on filling that out soon.

Re: [request] Import del.icio.us bookmarks
Sorry Andrew, but there is not extension tab. I checked that several times. The plugin install went well and it is switched to live. You can get access to TXP Mag if you like.

Me too. I cant see ajw_bookmarks under extentions either. I double checked with both txp 4.02 and 4.03.

Re: [request] Import del.icio.us bookmarks
Uh, yeah… it’d help it if I actually set it as an admin side plugin. D’oh. Fixed. (details, details ;-)

Re: [request] Import del.icio.us bookmarks
Seems creativesplash can confirm the plugin works well. Would it be possible for me to wait till you (Andrew) checked if it works with importing per tag because on TXP Mag we have nearly 200 links and improting all in one step would cause a lot of work (categorising them).

Re: [request] Import del.icio.us bookmarks
I’m sorry I wanted to post back earlier but couldnt. I see the tab but there’s a problem when I try to import the html file.
<code>Fatal error: Call to undefined function: safe_pfx() in /home/pujasang/public_html/creativesplash/textpattern/lib/txplib_misc.php(455) : eval()’d code on line 139</code>

Re: [request] Import del.icio.us bookmarks
@creativesplash: Hm… that function might not be in 4.0.3… might have to roll that back.
@alexandra: Well, it might take me a little while to get that feature rolled in; it’s not just as easy as it might seem. I’m trying to avoid multi-step uploads to minimize having to pass along all the values of all the uploaded bookmarks via your browser, which would probably cause more encoding issues. I’ll look into it, but no promises on timeline.

Thanks at all for looking into it. I´ll wait. Just let me know if you ‘give up’ or don´t have the time to. That would be kind.
