Re: mysql error?
The domain name I did this with was not new, I just redirected if from the orginal settings that I had been using to the Textdrive DNS servers. I’m not sure how DNS behaves under those circumstances, but the duplication of DNS source could have some unusual effects.

yeah, same here. i’ve had the domain name for a couple of years. i just redirected to the the textdrive DNS. i just did this earlier this morning so i’ll check it later tonight or tomorrow morning. i’m betting this will resolve itself.

Re: mysql error?
The only other thing I can think of that was different in the case where I had this problem was with the creation of the virtual server under webmin. I was using a primary domain that read mysite.us, so to speak, and installed a mysite.net as a virtual domain. It wouldn’t let me create a MySql database as a default on both as “mysite” by name, so I changed the name of the MySql setup on the virtual domain, it seemed to run fine after that, with the exception of this error. I’m running slimstat with it now and that runs without a hitch.

Re: mysql error?
Just to clear up a few things:
This is not a Textpattern problem. It’s a MySQL server problem. The only way to recover from it is to repair your MySQL database. The only way to prevent it from happening again, is to fix the MySQL server.
