[Close]Add a comment preview switch?
at first,my english is so poor that i can’t write more,sorry!
how about add a Variable (example: preview_sw )in comment.php.- preview_sw=true —> change nothing.
- preview_sw=false —> disable the comment preview.
Why?
- As we know there are many anti-spam plugins to do the same thing as the comment preview,I believe that these plugins can protect our comments very well.
- Some of the people away forget to click the submit bottom.
- anti-spam plugins can change the preview_sw Variable,they can disable the comment preview in their plugin in a easy way.
and so on…
Because we don’t want to add this switch in the admin interface.(textpattern help)
add a easy way in hacking the comment preview at comment.php may help people just like me that not good at php.
BTW:
Indeed,I just want a perfect hack about the comment.php.(I not good at php)
Someone help me to disable the comment preview? Thank very much.

We had various requests regarding turning comment preview into an optional function but we can not see that happening.
- the majority of the txp community appreciate the spam shield provided by comment preview as it totally blocks automated spam.
- comment preview is so much integrated in txp’s code, a major rewrite is needed for possible cancellation of that behaviour.
- there’s a plugin which might do what you are looking for.

2.comment preview is so much integrated in txp’s code, a major rewrite is needed for possible cancellation of that behaviour.
I haven’t known about it in the past.
I know about the code rewrite,it’s a hard work.
