A new tag txp:session
What do you think about a new tag to create easily some sessions into txp?
for example <txp:session name=”“ path=”“ time=”“ etc. etc. />

Sessions is what I believe he’s referring to. I don’t see where lots of people would want this to put it into the core. A plugin, sure.

I know what a session is, but I don’t understand what your example tag would do.

- a language switcher ;
- a styles switcher.
I’m working into a txp site where I take some informations from pages to pages and fill it into a zem_contact formmailer.
So I made a php session for my purpose, and I thought it’ll be funny if this kind of php session could be used with a txp core tag.

So what would the result or output of this tag be? -
<txp:session name=”“ path=”“ time=”“ etc. etc. />I can see the sense in having some PHP library functions to support sessions in the core, for use by plugins and so on. But I don’t quite follow how you’d use them directly from a Textpattern tag.
